Anatomical Guide To Chicken Wings

There is a sweetness to the meat of a chicken wing and the combination of a thin layer of skin makes the wings juicy and tender, whether they are oven roasted or cooked on a BBQ/braai.

You can buy the whole wing and cut them down to wingettes and drumettes and the tips can be added to your stock pot. Some shops and butchers sell wings in different forms, see the diagram below.
