How to assemble a Nutella Chocolate Mousse Cake

This is a wow cake, easy to make and super simple to assemble.

Make a 26cm Easy Chocolate Cake once cooled, cut in half horizontally. https://www.marissa.co/recipes/easy-chocolate-cake/

Whip up a batch of Nutella Chocolate Mousse using 600ml of cream and 250ml Nutella.https://www.marissa.co/recipes/nutella-chocolate-mousse/

In a spring form tin place half the cake at the bottom of the tin.

Add the Nutella Chocolate Mousse and smooth it over the bottom layer of the cake.

Add the top half of the cake on top of the mousse, press gently, cover the tin in cling wrap and refrigerate overnight or for at least 2-4 hour.

Use a knife to loosen the cake from the edges, release the spring and using two lifters to move the cake from the tin to your serving plate.

Decorate the cake with strawberries, raspberries or chocolates depending on the occasion.

Hints:

I make the cake 2 days before, I fill the cake with the mousse the day before and ice the cake on the day and keep it in the fridge covered with foil, until I am ready to serve.
