If you want to add flavour to your rice try this easy tip.
In the pot that you will boil the rice in, melt some butter or olive oil, crumble in your stock cube or spoon in your powdered stock. If you are using any spices add and toast them a little. Then add the rice and mix to coat each granule as if you were starting a risotto. Then add water as per the instructions on your box, cook and enjoy.
The rice will be a little fluffier and tastier for the attention you gave it at the beginning.
