Three ingredient Chocolate Ice Cream Recipe
An easy to beat together no churning Three ingredient Chocolate Ice Cream Recipe that can be made in minutes. All you need is a beater, bowl and freezable container. The quality of the cocoa powder is key, this is where all the chocolate flavour will come from. Buy an organic powder, it is readily available in supermarkets and don’t be tempted to use drinking chocolate, it will result in a sickly sweet ice cream with a gloopy texture, due to the stabalisers in the drinking chocolate powder. This yielded 700ml of ice cream, the amount can vary, depending on the viscosity of the cream you are using.
This is a rich and delicious dessert.
- 1 tin condensed milk
- 125ml organic cocoa powder (I used Green & Blacks)
- 500ml double cream
- In a bowl beat the ingredients together until you can see tracks in the mixture that hold their shape. This can take between 3-8 minutes depending on the strength of your beater.
- Add to a freezable container and freeze for at least 6 hours or ideally over night.
